SkiExpress© Learning ProgramsActivity ProgramsLessonsCamp Tam-A-Rack Children’s Programs Camp Tam-A Rack is the most innovative and attractive resort childcare center you will find for children from two months to ten years of age. It assures you of a child-to-caregiver ratio that will vary with age but be no more than 4 to 1. It has 2,400 square feet of age-appropriate indoor space and 1,000 square fee of fenced outdoor play space. It is easily accessible from Bay Mountain. Your child can be enrolled for childcare only (not available through Ski Express). Or, he or she can be enrolled for indoor and outdoor ski instruction in a program tailored to the needs of young skiers. For new skiers that program is on “Snowdrop” a specialized learning hill serviced by an easy-to-use “Magic Carpet” surface lift. For more experienced youngsters this program typically uses the lift on the south face and Sweet Cicely a Green Circle run. Children are grouped by age and ability level and lessons are taught with a student-to-instructor ratio of no more than 4 to 1 so as to maximize learning, fun and safety.

Better N Better Group Lessons Our Better N Better group lessons are for those who skied or snowboarded some time ago and want to come back to the sport and those who ski and snowboard and want to be better. Students are grouped by ability level. These two-hour lessons feature a maximum 4 to 1 student to instructor ratio. The instructor will teach basic to intermediate techniques for stepping, turning and stopping. Offered at 10am and 1:30pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
